Dr. Obinna Awiaka is a graduate of Optometry from the prestigious University of Benin in Edo state, where he obtained a Doctor of Optometry in 1998. He is also an alumnus of the prestigious Lagos Business School.
His working career spanned both the public and private sector for 13years after which he founded the Eyemasters Eye Clinic following a need to help children with vision problems get free eye care, that is why Eyemasters provide free eye care for orphanages in Nigeria from its inception till date. This led to the establishment of iSEE FOUNDATION a registered NGO with a focus on providing free and qualitative eye care to children from poor homes. He is the brain behind the iSee Expo, Nigeria’s leading optical and eyewear exhibition and conference held in Lagos with exhibitors from Canada, UAE, South Africa, Algeria, and Nigeria.
